Rolls Royce & Pinball film

I vaguely remember a film from years ago, a Rolls Royce (maybe 2) was racing across the good old US of A, & they stopped in a diner for a pinball contest. Anyone else remember it, & more importantly, what's it called.

Sounds very much like the film 'Tommy', from circa 1976, in which Roger Daltry (of The Who) played a deaf dumb and blind Pinball genius. I remember quite clearly he did ride in a Rolls Royce, and he did have a Pinball competition with none other than Elton John.
