why do walkers make chiken crisps suitable for vegetarians but the cheese and onion crisps arent?

You're right about chicken walkers they are suitable for veggies. But looking at a cheese and onion packet it 'is' suitable for veggies too!

a friend once told me that the Cheese & Onion variety used to have pork extract in the flavouring, hence, they were not vegetarian but then i think they changed the recipe. She told me that they used a Pig's sweat gland as an added ingredient, but i don't know if she was joking or not!
