Do I groan at the thought of Christmas because I run a parcel delivery depot? Between now and Christmas my depot alone with deliver in excess of 250,000 parcels.

It's not the industry to work in if you want time to plan for and enjoy Christmas - Bah Humbug!

Yes, the parcels are good for business but everyone wants their parcel yesterday, even though the sender has only paid for 48 hour delivery! Our fault, not the senders it seems!

You wouldn't believe the grief you get when one of your drivers leaves a card as the recipient is out! With around 8000 parcels a day going out, some customers can't or won't accept that we can't phone them first! And..........who ordered the goods in the first place, without first checking that someone would be at home to accept delivery?

We are not perfect, and we mess up at times, but we break our butts to get these goods delivered to everyones satisfaction

I love xmas as I can charge gullible people more money to play them rubbish songs lol.

Xmas day:

Get up
Open unwanted/useless presents
pretend u like them
eat a sunday roast
eat quality street
watch only fools and horses repeat
fall asleep
