Hi. Sorry if people ask these kind of questions alot but Im a little new - me and my girlfriend are about to look for a property to rent so we can live together. Just wondered if anyone could give me an indiction of the average monthly outgoings on a 2 bedroom house (inc electric, water, tv license etc). Hi, i live in a two bed midterrace which is currently up for sale, bills are:
Council tax 98- 100 if you pay by direct debit you get two months free, you only pay it over ten months.
My water is on a meter about 15 a month.
Electric is about 20/ 30, there is no gas at the property.
Tv licence is 11/13 per month by direct debit.
Rent would vary between 500/ 600 depending on the area.
Telephone is 20 a month depends if you want broadband etc.( or how often you use it)
Shopping varies between 50/60 per week
Petrol ( 1.00 per litre by me)
Plus car insurance/ car tax
House contents insurance, maybe buildings insurance.
The list never ends, please work things out and keep some money for emergencies, good luck.
