Yes, a friend had a 60 min makeover in the summer.

Yes, friends of ours were on the show a few years ago, got nowhere, but they do give the participating familes a huge wodge of questionairs to fill in, so they mean it when they say they survedd a hundred people - they just collate the reults from those. Maybe they use other sources as well, but that's definitely one of them.
