Interpreter for the EU

What qualifications are required to work for the EU in Brussels as an interpreter?

(Ok - I'll do it so you don't have to - Back off Brussels, EU Monster etc etc).

I would think that the ability to speak at least 2 european languages fluently would be quite an advantage
