wells was always great as a kid, the little train from the beach to the town or the walk that seemed like miles and miles and miles

West of Wells, at Thornham, is a lovely pub/hotel called the Lifeboat (or Loifboot as the locals mispronounce it), lovely views over meadows to the sea, memories of a delightful holiday. Drop in if you're passing.

that is a great place to stop just for a drink or food when walking some of the coastal paths. It has a lovely courtyard for the summer days.

I was desperately trying to think of its name the other day and failed.

Thank you whiffey! x
