Has anyone ever thought they were...

..in love with someone they'd never even met? My friend had a penfriend for 15 years, and when he got married, she was devastated - insisting that she'd never get over it, and that he was the "love of her life".

Take ya point but why am I a not -saying - exactly person ?
If I offended you with the Derbyshire thing, it wasn't intentional and I apologise.

To further your reply - no one ever knows if they've made the right choice do they? If someone's happy as they are, and never experiences new feelings with anyone else, then they can't compare. I think most relationships can get into a rut if you're not careful, and so if you meet someone else who seems the opposite of how your partner''s being, it can sometimes feel as though - yes - THIS is what it's all about.
