I have been having it for years and have a much improved winter - no flu which means no chest infections and up to three months of illness.

No side effects in my experience - perhaps a little ache at the injection site for a few hours.
I was in the same position as you and have been having the jab for the last 5yrs, and I've had no problems. Some people I know have had reactions to the jab itself but none were too bad. Most of us who get the jab seem not to get the flu (or at least not bad cases) so either we're lucky or it works, any way it doesn't cost anything and as I said it seems to work
Hi dfward , I have had the vac for years too , I would not want to risk having 'flu . I had no side effects from the vac btw..:-)
hi bigmamma hope your well xx
hi dfward i should be going for my flu jab as im asthmatic but (lazy me) haven"t had it... ever! promised myself to get it done this year.......
ditto to what everyone else said: no flu, no colds, no after effects from the jab itself.
Hi hussy sweetie, I am well thankyou , hope you are , do get round to having the vac if you can . :-) xx
i get letters from the doctors to remind me but........
anyway i was back in the dungeon, again! my user name not very lucky!! mabee i deserve it.... not. lol xx
Had flu jab 3 years running now, work at hospital and we HAVE to have it. Never had side effects, always been fine, I recommend it especially if you are within the at risk groups.
