In Palma, I love the Hospes Maricel Hotel. I assure you, its far from the hoi polloi that often plague some of the Balearic Islands. Its small and intimate, with under thirty rooms and the service is excellent. What I enjoy most is the privacy.

If you dont mind driving to the North, then Id recommend staying in Pollena, then Id recommend the Son Brull Hotel & Spa, which is built within an 18th century Monastery. Again, in keeping with my own preferences, the hotel is quiet and removed from all the noise and bustle that can sometimes rob us of our relaxation.

Those two would be may favourite. I should point out that they are not actively promoted within the UK, instead drawing much of their guest base from other locations.
