I am a average to low user max 1 hour a day e-mailing & surfing & I am thinking of going onto a 3GB broadband package. Would this be enough for my needs & does this give me a lot in reserve in case I start downloading music etc?

Thanks!

always on 24/7 connection no bandwidth limit

So are NTL, broadband is limited by only a few companies, and signing up with them is just shooting yourself in the foot.

3gb is 3000mb per month. If you only use it for an hour a day, it depends what you do in that hour. I have just changed my package from no limit to  2gb. I download some music (5 tracks a week?) send photos by e-mail (100 a week @ 100kb each). Surf, mess about and I wont get close to 2gb. If an average track is 4mb and you download 5 per day, that would be 560 mb per month, leaving you with 2460mb to play with!
