I am sick to death of my Norton anti-virus programme as it slows everything down so much. What is your favourite programme for a home computer? And is there a good programme for detecting and repairing faults?

I had the same problem with my laptop - Norton was useless. Switched to Bitdefender with which I am very happy and my computer goes much faster now.

I have AVG internet security have no problems for years with it and if you do their on line help is brilliant
