Help with Belkin N1 Router & Virginmedia ISP
I am wondering if some one could help me? I use Virginmedia broadband 20mb cable. I recently upgraded my router from a D-link 54g to Belkin N1 router. Since then I can serve the net great from the different computers on my network, but sometimes I can get virginmedia then other times I can't, same with emails, on all the computers, then I can get it on one, but not another, but can still serve other web pages, same with emails. Went back to D-link router no problem, then connected modem direct to computer no problem, then reconnected Belin N1 router problem starts again, also Virginmedia have changed the modem but still same problem. I have contacted Belkin technical support, but end up in Indian call centre, and I am finding it hard to get myself understood by them, so please could anybody help me?

I am experiencing exactly the same problem using a new Belkin N1 and Virgin as my ISP. I have exchanged a couple of messages with Belkin Support to little avail thus far - perhaps you could let me know if you have managed to resolve the problem yet, please.
(I did notice a firmware update on the Belkin site that was needed due to problems connecting with a specific ISP in the Netherlands - perhaps we need a similar fix here!)
Cheers, Rodd.

I have bought a Netgear N router, and this works fantastic, then I have sold the Belkin N1 on Ebay, got 70.00 for it so lost about 20.00 on the hole, but now receive Virginmedia fantastically, but all in all with loosing 20 selling router approx 20 in phone calls its cost a lot and caused alot of hassle. I would advise you to sell it, and buy another one.
