No sound after O S upgrade

Had a problem with booting, just kept going into a loop closing down down and trying to reboot. A restore did not help, so I upgraded from XP to XP Pro (Band new unused copy) Graphics O K but no sound just a message no auo hardware. Read previous q & answers on the subject and have establised that Muiltimedia Audio Controller is VIA-AC'97 but i cannot find a driver for it. The motherboard is Microstar International MS 7211. I don't have a motherboard CD suggestions please. I can get a beep sfrom Accessiblty with Caps Lock Key. Suggestions please.

Cheers Pauln90and rojash, all up and running with full sound and video effects. Thats got to be the quickest safest fix yet. Brilliant.
