How weird. That was the only clue I didn't get. I swear I worked it out to be just that but couldn't find it in Chambers. Is it a new entry? I've got the 1998 edition...

I've now found it in my 2003 edition, but online searches and my crossword solver books didn't throw it up either.

A search at onelook.com does bring it up - and a load of irrelevant stuff, too. 2003 Chambers is essential for Azed - I reckon that in the six months before I bought it, a clue popped up every two to three weeks that couldn't be solved using earlier editions.

I guess it's only a matter of time before he upgrades to the 2006 edition!
