London skyline

From the North Circular on the skyline you can see a huge form of construction resembling the London Eye (but obviously is not) with cranes etc.  I would like to know what it is ?

Not very clued up on London but its not the arch over webley is it?

It definitely is the Wembley arch.  Curious thing is, it's not where you expect to see it.  You can see it from the river alongside Fulham Football Ground, even.

It is huge, so big that the Eye would actually fit underneath it which is probably why you can see it from the river.
