Hello everyone.. im a US citizen, born and raised there, and i have a US passport, but i live in Norway at the moment.. my question is, can i enter the US without problems if i have a criminal record here in norway? will they look at that? it wasnt anything serious, i shoplifted one time, and thats IT.. but seeing as im an american citizen, will it be a problem ?? its been probably 4-5 months since it happened.. will that be taken into consideration too ?

i dont know.. just wanted to make sure..
yes, your own country will always take you back unless it's North Korea or something. I very much doubt if the Norwegians have passed on your record to the USA, either.
Good to see that the Norwegians nailed Amy Wimehouse for her flagrant use of drugs.

Norway leads where the UK ... can't be bothered.
If you have a US passport and you are a US citizen they cannot refuse you entry to your homeland.
