is he still here? writing loads of bore as usual, didnt read the thread that upset his daughter, but i agree withe the fluffy kitten, most people on here are fake, and he should never let his child on here, so much for parental control, so its his fault and no-one elses!! he should be a better dad and block such websites as there is NO control. stop preaching about how great he is and understand that hes NO different!!! hes a fake like the rest of us.
who know what our names, occupations, etc are, he could be anything he likes and u all still read his 6000 word answers and then go "argh, we love u" like a sad bunch of loners.
ab aint real!! its just for fun and for adults so the VV should be a better parent and spend more time with his family rather than being on here 24 7
so there!!!!

hes still here pretending to care. if he was my vicar i would be ashamed of him for spending soooooooo many hrs in a week on a website and neglecting his child/family. he is disgusting for making out he cares,
he should put his family first, and everything else next
if i had kids, i would be spending all my time with them and not on a dodgy website like this!! mind u, some threads are funny and we all must take them with a pince of salt,

I have been on AB for quite a while now, but this thread has been an eye opener for me.
Until now I didn't realize how many mean-spirited and/or disrespectful posters there were here. I thought it was just America that had that kind of reputation, not the UK too - but this makes me wonder. I hope I am wrong about them and that they were just having a bad day or a temporary lapse in judgement/manners.

Oh, I've just read this thread from the beginning, I don't know how I missed it all the first time!
Fr Bill, I'd like to tell you to ignore the few insensative posts on this thread, but I know how hard that can be sometimes.
I read every last word of your post, and although I am sorry if you felt you had to clarify or justify your reasons for leaving, I have to admit I am glad that you did - I myself found AB on the off-chance, having stayed away from this kind of site before. The community and friendships that have formed through this website alone really surprised me, and are one of the reasons that I (shock-horror!) signed up here!
I am undecided as to whether using username and sign-off is a mistake, but sometimes it's comforting none-the-less.
I don't know how the recent (ish) events have left you feeling about answerbank in generall, but please know there will always be someone here to help, and very possibly someone who needs help will be next in the queue.
Although (excuse the expression) I may be preaching to the choir - this has helped me - Philippians 4:6 - 7.
I am well and truly done now, honestly.
Take care. Claire x
