Does the 'Glast' bit vowel sound like 'maths' or 'calf'?

Short "a" as in "maths" and only the first syllable stressed.  GLASTenbry.
Its the same as in 'blast'
How do you pronounce "calf", then?  Because to me, it rhymes with "math."

Short as in "maths".  (Ouisch: Normal people pronounce "calf" as in "bar", "bath", "farm" or "ha ha ha").  TTML
Ah, another American vs. British thing.  Americans pronounce the vowels in those two words the same.
