user names

reading about Dove wishing to change a user name, made me think that some of the user names are, well, odd, to say the least.
It occured to me that it might be interesting to read how anyone came up with their user name.
Probably some of the answers could be quite amusing

I used to have my two dogs names but I wanted to change it so when i weighed myself the other week and had lost 7lb the name just came to me. Sadly I have found the 7lb again but I'm remaining skinny even if it is only in name.

Mine is a German word, meaning "nuthatch". I just like it and as a nuthatch is a little bird that lives in the woods, I thought it was appropriate for me. (Except that I'm not little - I'm 5ft 10ins!). There are a lot of us from Wales on here, aren't there? (That's another contradiction - I'm Scottish, but I live in Wales.) Sorry, guys, I'm just in a really silly mood today!! (which you'll see if you read any of my other replies!) K xx
