PM vs myspace, facebook et al

What with all this private messaging thing going on here on AB, does this mean the demise of other social networking sites liuke the ones mentioned above?

My family and mates from school don't come on ab (as far as I'm aware!) so I'll probably still use my bebo for keeping in touch with all them.

what are they? I used myspace and didn;t get it. I think you have to be online abit more to get the benefit of myspace.

I love myspace, I also love facebook. It's not that I don't like the people on here, I just don't know them. I wouldn't phone most of the people here, I wouldn't go out drinking with most of them. There are a few people I really like on here and I thin k its a nice addition to the site and helps get in contact with those you kinda gel with but Answerbank is not a replacement for real friends.
