Would not everyone in his position have waited to be sacked rather than resign?
We are talking big money here, and that is what football is all about I am afraid. Rather be a very rich sacked Coach, than a much poorer man of principle.
But he was not the only one responsible. Blame the FA for grabbing big money hiring out Wembley for the pitch to be churned up by American Football, days before a very important England Soccer match
And blame those overpaid prima donnas, who do not seem to have grasped the very basics of football. They cannot pass the ball accurately, when they gain possession they do not seem to know what to do with it, they cannot dribble, constanly loose possession and very really hit the target.
Dismal performance from so called very highly paid professionals, who's pay should be performance related.
