Loch Lomond has the biggest expanse of water in Scotland Loch Ness has the largest volume of water due to it's depth and William Wallace was Scotland' s hero before Robert the Bruce who beat the English King Edward at BANNOCKBURN in 1314 not Cullodden which was the Jacobite battle of 1746.
