i have just found a hedgehog with Lxlodes Hexagonus ticks on it what is the quickest way of removing them

Best way to remove ticks is to use a pair of tweezers, grab it right at the very bottom, make sure you've got the "teeth" so that they aren't left behind. Twist it anti-******** and it should come free.

thats meant to say anti-clockwise !
