What are the top 5 spoken langauges in the world ?

according to one google search, they are:

1. Mandarin
2. English
3. Hindustani (different dialects of Hindi)
4. Spanish
5. Russian

That's the list for first languages - although some would put Spanish at 2nd.  If you included second langauges as well, English would be at the top of the list, followed by Spanish.
