Is it a pain?

More an more trailers for programmes seem to be along the lines of dozens of fast shots from the programme within one or two seconds. Does anyone else find this annoying and sore on their eyes?

Oh yes. Even in the actual show, the camera can move too quickly. I noticed that in the Kylie show - every time I thought I would get a look at her, the camera showed another angle.

Traillers are meant to make you want to watch the show. A fast and pacy trailler can make even the dullest programme look flash and worth watching. It's all done to sell the programme to you the viewer, although if you hate the trailler then you'll probably hate the show.

I do agree that the never ending moving camera can be very annoying. Remember when Jamie Oliver first appeared on the BBC with the camera swooping all over the food, never got a really good look at any of it. TV people loved the effect and still do some six years later.

Yes, it is a pain. There does seem to be a difference between what the program makers think is good and what the viewers want to see. Top Gear is probably the worst for this kind of quick fire action shoooting.

Yes it is on some programs and can be annoying but I think on Top Gear it has to shoot at all the different angles to have the effect and make it the top show it is today.
