As you may be aware, Kylie releases her new CD on Monday.

I've heard it, and it's only average, but I would like the regular posters on the News thread to go out and buy it to support her.

She's been through a lot and we owe her.

You can go back to listening to rock music (or whatever it is that straight people listen to nowadays) in two weeks.

nonsense, oldgit, this is a matter of the widest possible international implications. Not following sp1814's advice could lead to war with Australia at the very least and the possible triumph of rap music, which God forfend. To hide it away in Music would be a dereliction of duty.

In answer to the posts asking what we owe her...well, personally, I think she should be made a Dame of the British Empire for supplying the nation with high quality disco for the past 20 years.

CD...I will certainly give the new Foo Fighters album a listening to, prior to any potential purchase. I have what I like to call, 'rock mates' at work. I'm sure I can borrow the CD off one of them.
