I was disappointed with the ending, it seemed very abrupt, like the script writers were running out of time and just thought 'oh this will do'.

..as with most tv adaptations the book was much better, still, it was a very moving drama, about a touchy subject... you cannot deny the similarities with the Mary Bell and Jamie Bulger murders, there's something about children who murder that society cannot forget, adult murderers are released from prison every day ,their time commited, but a child who murders another innocent is deemed "evil"...and the stigma will be there forever,the drama gave us a glimps of the other side of the story ...I wonder if Jon Venables and Robert Thompson were watching , sat on their sofa with their new identities and their new wives/girfriends.... food for thought

on a lighter note...Andrew Garfield is destined to become a top actor if that was anything to go by ( do you think he looks like a young David Tennant?)...
