Morning all. What a grim day it is so far...mist and murk and drizzle. Whats everyone got planned for today..I wanna hear all your plans. Nothing exciiting for me..just another day at the grind :( Here's some thoughts for the day....... '' I've learned u cannot make someone love you. morning, just managed to log on, as i've been fielding a dispute between the receptionists and the security guard for the last 20 mins, what joy, and the most exciting thing i have to do .......... reconciling the credit card statements what fun!

Resusci Annie is a style queen...that tracksuit is the height of fashion! Not! I have often wondered why she is dressed like a townie chav throwback from the 80's. And why is it she never has legs....and if she does why are they so bendy!! I often wonder what her true purpose in life was meant to be with such bendy legs! She's a fractured neck of femur waiting to happen!!

Andi I'm PA in a "Neighbourhood Services" team, we work alongside social services, the police, anti social behaviour teams, youth offending teams, Housing authorities, mediation, etc to try and resolve community issues. I have to attend court every so often (probably monthly) to act as witness support (for the likes of the guy who rang in this morning). I quite like it, the hours suit me (7.30-4) and I get to accrue flex, I also get a good maternity package and should be able to get a return to work plan that suits me too.

Although, working with Resusi-Annie is sounding mighty tempting :-)

Days after the 2nd world war ended an officer from my beloved RAMC was walking near a canal in Germany, he noticed a young girl (Annie) face down in the water, he tried to resussitate (sp)? her but unfortunatly she was too far gone, the dummie's face is Annie's death mask. I was told that her clothing is the same as what she has on now, but I think that part is false

Morning mamma...looking at your pic you definately don't need a dietician!! And you wanna get that blue hue you seem to be carrying around with you sorted..It don't look healthy!! Ha.

But that don't answer my question as to why Annie had such bendy legs...and did they have shell suits in the times of WWII?! I think not! Don't suppose they had defibrillators back then either so no wonder the resuscitation failed and poor annie died!

andi, id love to put my feet up and relax but with a full time job (working in office at home today) and toddler, the mum-in-law staying and my cars broken down (sorry 4get may not get up this week) its not gonna be a relaxing kind of day lol

Oh, also, I took my kittens to the vets last night for their boosters and found out that Raphael (don't laugh, it's a good name) is actually a Raphaella!

LOL natalie, little tip for you, dont let babies see your fear!!!! The calmer the parents the calmer the baby usually, unless they are ill.

as for the cat, i had a cat called junior that turned out to be a boy. I hope youre getting someone else to do litter trays!

LOL - no, hubby has the pleasure of the litter trays! The hoover is to heavy for me now so he gets to do that too. Haha, he gets all the fun jobs now :-)

I had my 20week scan last week (am 22 weeks now) and everything is fine, and where it should be. He/ she / it is sat very far back so she said this might cause me some back pain but they have all their fingers and toes, so I was pleased to know that and they're the right size and growing well, etc. We wanted to find out the sex but the little ****** was being coy and wouldn't let us see! I don't mind atall though, I see it as fate, I will just have to wait for a lovely surprise now.

Are you excited about your scan? My friend has hers tomorrow, she is only 21 weeks with twins but they have turned round and midwife says it looks like they are ready to come already so she is worried and I am keeping my fingers crossed tight for her! They have already told her that in the extreme unliklihood that she makes it to 32 weeks they will have to deliver by C-section then. The reason is because they are so big and so active, so I see that as a good sign that if they come early they are strong at least :-)

I havent stopped yet! Had an ante natal appointment after dropping my daughter off at school. Then got some shopping done. Just had enough time to sit and quickly eat something and now Im off to work! See you all later :)
