Recylcing shredded paper!!

Can you put shredded paper into the paper recycling bin??

Yes, I think you can, I know that our local re-cycling men take it away, and I put it in the paper bank at my children's school. Another good use is to put it in the bottom of your flower pots (if you are a gardener) before putting compost in as the paper holds the moisture. You can even use it as bedding for rabbits.
Our local authority (Oxford) won't take it, you might want to ring yours direct though as I think it varies.

Also, at my work they take shredded paper seperately to normal paper recycling (where we can recycle all paper apart from yellow for some obscure reason!).
