Amazon and Advanced Mp3 both state the unit is compatible with ALL ipods.

I totally agree with knobby btw. Most speakers like this sound pretty awful. Had a similar one I had to return cos it was so bad. Even too bad for hotel rooms. But...looking at this on Amazon, it has received forty three 5 star ratings, which can't be knocked. Apparently it's a powerful, extremely portable unit although cannot be powered by batteries (why??)

Try one out before you buy if it's in any way possible, but what do you want for �19? Just don't get your hopes up too high sonically.
