font size
I am 70 next month and my eyesight is not so good. I increased my font size to LARGER to help me see the screen better. Although a few sites I use. did give the increased font size the majority such as this site do not. Is there some thing I can do so as all sites show the larger font.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

They have a web site here, see if anything on their web site helps.

See the section on the right "Get the most out of your computer" for help in setting up your computer to make the text larger.

And finally the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) says that all UK web sites should be easy to use for people with special needs (such as the ability to enlarge the text).

I notice all the text on the AbilityNet site changes size when you change the text size on the browser (as you would expect).

Please use firefox as your web browser,

In addition to it being a great browser for many other reasons, it also has this great add-on:

It's called NoSquint. It just lets firefox remember your per-website font size settings (as Ethel explains above). Really great.

Yep, I support the Firefox suggestion. I just tried and the normal text increase under the view tab works here too.
It is great to see more and more 'mature' folks becoming proficient at using the computer. I did a short stint helping at a senior's comp course earlier this year and am ashamed to say that I expected them to be childlike basic in their skills. However, I found that many of them would put the younger generation to shame with their general computer efficiency.
