1) Eggs 2) Veg (if it is going to be eaten soon) 3) Various pickles (i.e onions, wallys, beetroot etc) 4) Ketchup, mayo, Branstons etc 5) Tinned fish (tuna, pilchards etc) 6) Chocolate (in the winter) 7) Tinned corned beef, spam etc 8) Tetra pack fruit juice, long life milk (if for stoarage only)
The reason I ask is none of these are chilled in Waitrose, yet many seem to put them in the fridge. Also Ketchup, for example, states refridgerate once opened. I say this is not necessary.
Nothing wrong with fridge content trivia, when facts and a general dicussion may ensue.
I put all the veg in the fridge ,and sauces , and have a HUGE jar of wallies in there !! Always have a tin of corned beef as it has to be cold to make corned beef hash , all the milk , eggs are also in there . A friend had food poisoning , he had left a bottle of mayo in the cupboard ,ate some was not a well bunny so chill it or bin it my motto !!
