Im still friends with someone i have known since we were about 3 years old. We went through school together and are still here for one another at the age of 39!

I did get an e mail from an old school friend on friends re united the other day. That was nice. Not sure we'll meet up though !

I lost touch with pretty much all my school friends from when I was little as I moved 200 miles away. Made lots of new friends and pretty much lost touch with them all when I moved away again at 17. There was only one really I had kept in touch with and went to see her a few times and shes been down to see me a couple of times. Last month though she and a few others organised a school reunion so got to catch up with about 30 others after 14 years!

I grew up in the Highlands where there is much depopulation as people go off to find a life. Everyone with more than 2 brain cells went off to colleges and Universities. I don't know anyone from my town anymore. I went to London at 17. I really would love to see my old friends though. I keep in touch with some through email, but that was when they contacted me later in life.

Nice to read all your stories. The video always brings a tear to my eye also, I think it is actually very very clever, much of it is the maker's interpretation of where the people are now, and they edit clips appropriately, rather than just showing what the people want to be shown.
The Fray video also brings a tear, not sure why.
I'm not in touch with any of my old school mates, wish I was though. Some were very close.

Funnily enough since I registered on Facebook a lot of old school friends have requested me as a 'friend', even the ones who didn't give me the time of day at school because I didn't fit in :)
I've also been unindated with friends telling me to 'stay in touch' now that I'm living with my parents again and I have one school friend who is taking me out to dinner on Saturday :)
