Printing while not physically attached to the printer using router & dongle??

My laptop has a wireless card built in. When I set up my wireless router I also bought a 'dongle' so that my desktop could also be wireless. I have now got rid of my desktop. Can I attach my 'dongle' to my printer so that I can print from my laptop remotely/within the limits of a router?

No. Your printer does not know how to login to to your wirless network.

What router do you have? Is it also a print server?

I'd disagree with Neil above.

I have an Airport Express (router and print server).

I just installed my printer as normal to each computer, then plugged the printer into the Airport. I had to manually enter an IP address on a Windows machine, but that was it. No other messing. Works perfectly.

Perhaps older systems are harder to use, but some of the later ones are very easy to use.
