To be honest with you, I haven't been felt by my midwife, GP or anyone so don't know if that is unusual or not. I am sure if your midwife was concerned then she would have arranged a scan immediately. When is your scan? Have you had children before? X
If your midwife isnt worried, she wouldve arranged an emergency scan if she had been, then I think there is no reason for you to worry. Everyones pregnancy develops at different rates and in different ways and from what you said about "its not popped out yet" she seemed confident all is ok and its just a matter of time before she can feel something.
Has she given you another date to see her?

Helo,
It's the norm for you're womb to have not popped out. It doesn't usually until after 12wks, thats why you're midwife couldn't feel anything. Thats nothing to worry about!! I was 13wks before my midwife could feel anything above my pelvis. Once it has popped out though you're tummy will begin to grow!! You'll have a preggie belly!!
Don't worry yourself about it, totally normal!!

my first preg went fine untill birth and i have never miscarried, i have a really big pregie belly as if i was 5 months lol i have had alot of pains with this baby but my dr said that they are probably to do with the c-section i had 2 yrs ago, i haven't been sick that much but most days i feel like i want to and my breasts are only a little sore and haven't increased in size at all un like my first pregnancey the blow up i am only 19 and so worried about everything but talking on here has helped me so muck thank you.
I'm sure things'll be fine Mummy. When I was 3 month's pregnant with my first child, I was absolutely huge. I was wearing floppy tops, as I couldn't fit into anything else, and over-all, I gained 4 st. in weight!!!! The midwife joked that I was either going to have twins, or have a massive baby - but i didn't. He was 6lb. 10oz, and I had a normal, easy delivery. best of luck.
as the others have said, the uterus is hidden in the pelvis until around 12 weeks and cant be felt.
The pains you may be getting are stretching pains and are often worse the second time around, added to that a c-section scar may make them uncomfortable.
We all worry about the scans, even if we dont realise it, its normal behaviour.
Perhaps you could call up and chase your scan appointment as Im sure if you were getting a 12 week one youd have heard by now.
good luck
