Which dog?

I have 2 cats, one is 3 years and the other is 10 years. I'm thinking about getting a puppy, either a whippet or jack russell. Could anybody give me some advice on which has the best temperament and would fit in with the cats?

If you're getting a puppy, you need more to worry about your cats' reaction.  Introduce them slowly to the pup, so they don't get scared or jealous.  Don't leave them alone together at first.  As for the dog, if he's raised with cats from puppyhood, either breed should probably be OK with cats.
