Once Upon A Time?

There are many versions and songs with the same name but I have a copy, on cassette tape, that I've recorded but cannot remember the singers name. He sounds like Ray Peterson who had a hit with m"Tell Laura I Love Her" but I cannot locate any information on the internet. If anybody can help identify it I'd be grateful. I do have some others but this will do for starters. thanx guys tc X
