big bang
If nothing can travel faster than the speed of light how come most of the universe was created within 3 minutes of the big bang starting, surely things must have been moving faster than the speed of light, apologies to those of you in the know, if this is a very naive perspective.

There is also the phenomenon of Cherenkov Radiation. This is where electrons drop photons when they travel thus moving faster than light. A kind of light sonic boom.
