pregnant or not?

We've just started trying for our second baby. My wife thought she'd got her period onThursday so we thought we'd "failed" for another month but it turned out to be just a few spots of blood and now nothing. We've decided to delay trying pregnancy test til tomorrow but what do people think? When she got pregnant the first time there was just no period at all that first month.

Either way, we're pretty excited!

She could well be pregnant - that spotting could have been minor 'breakthrough' bleeding due to hormone level not quite high enough to stop it.
No guarantees but fingers crossed!

hi bongerman i wouldn't like to say whether your wife is pregnant or not. but i can say i am 30 wks pregnant with my second child and didn't have a period when concieve with my first but this time i had one "normal" period then one a month later which was very light, as i was feeling rubbish i decided to do a test and it was postitve. then when i went for my first scan i was further on then i first thought. so i would just say do a test. and my fingers are crossed for you. keep us posted.

This is exactly how I was with my first pregnancy. I was 2 week's late, then had a very light period for about half an hour! I did a test - and bingo! best of luck!
