No Sound - TV
2 Answers
Morning,
I'm pretty sure that I know the answer to this question, but thought I'd give it a go anyway.
For the past week my TV has been on the blink! It has decided that it no longer wants me to hear anything.
The sound will work....then not work.... then work for about 5 minutes....then not work for 30 seconds....then work for 15 mintes and now I have no sound at all!
Yesterday, I did unplug everything (freeview, dvd player) and replugged it all back in and re-installed the freeview.... just in case it was any of the wires, etc..... but once I'd set it all back up....nothing changed!
The sound was still dodgeville.... hence me thinking it was the TV?
Any ideas?
Many thanks.... Spcl

does your set have an earphone socket ... or aux out for external speakers?
If either/both sockets work .... it's just your speaker(s)
if nothing works ... it's likely more serious ... and possibly costly.
if they do .... you could consider hooking telly to hi-fi
