25 Answers
Obviously with the scots and welsh having there own little parliaments now , should the scots involved with the English parliament now move on and find positions within there own parliaments ? thus Giving the English chance to put forward Ideas that will benefit England ?? It just appears on all the news programmes there are such a lot of scottish accents gassing off about this and that , appointed spokespersons for us all I know but should they not be representing the country they love the most ?? or am I out of touch ...??

Whilst i am very proud to be an Englishman and even prouder to be a Yorkshireman. I do think that most other places are good places as i love biking in all 3 other countries and the people are on the whole very welcoming but alas it is true wales is the pig in the poke with the mad muller chief of police and the unfriendly pubs (some areas) but hey we have the restof the world to fall out with so come on we are all brits at the end of the day.

Well , I did think it was going to turn into a slanging match ..... glad it was brought back from the brink, applause to everyone in controlling themselves, Anyway my question was are the scots ruining England not the scots are ruining England , It was an open debate on in my opinion westminster being very much steered by a scottish influence , eg Tony Blair and Gordon Brown to name the last leaders, a question asked is have they got Englands interests at heart or does there vocation lie elsewhere??
I too am very proud to be English, Hate the fact that I cannot place my nationality down as English, and proud to live a few miles from where Bonnie prince charlie turned back in fright on his way to London ,( tough luck he was bluffed by the way ) anyway It was interesting seeing the comments being raised, It does appear we are all very protective of our backgrounds and that is a good starting point for national pride from whatever background or DNA you are ....
