Cazzz, I hope you put NaCl in the sink. The muckle is accustomed to salt water. If it doesn't have enough salt, the muckle will expand and get thickle and eating it will make you sickle.
I buy my muckles swimming in brine, as a special garnesh I like to add a little motor oil before serving.
