impatient, but patient britain...
one of the key aspects in british culture has got to be queing. i mean come on, every british person knows that this is what we do best. we effin hate it, but queing we go!
anyways, does the following senario wind anyone else up, or is this just my own pet hate?
your at the bus station. the bus is approaching. there is room on the bus, (the one where the "wheels go round and round all day long!"), for 20 people. there are 15 people at the bus terminal. everyone knows theres enough room to fit everyone! Yet...this is what winds me up...before the bus arrives at the terminal, everyone stands up, no one pushes mind, because we like to be polite, but everyone rushes to be first.
excuse my french but "WHATS THE F*$"(*$ POINT!? everyone knows theres enough room! the bus wont leave any quicker cuz were all nicley qued, it makes no difference, it simply doesnt matter - so why the HELL DO PEOPLE DO IT!?
its like..."look at us so patiently waiting nicley qued up" but then its also like "look at us rushing impatiently to que up patientley!"
do you do this? if so...please, please tell me why!?!??!?!
