Go to a blood donor session. I'm sure that cure you're need for blood letting.

I work in a Haem lab so I work with other peoples blood everyday but I feel sick thinking about getting my own out

Are you one of the slight anisocytosis slight polychromasia brigade where the Hb is abnormal, or do you resolutely stick with the possibility that RBC's can appear normal with an Hb of 9 ?

whiffey - If I had a blood sample of myself I'd beable to analyse it but seeing as I'm healthy (at least i think I am) I doubt they'll be any polrchromasia in the circulating blood and so all the erythrocytes should appear normal

I think you need to do an electrophoretic strip, OR, poke yourself up the jacksie with a bone marrow needle.
