Where is thermostat located on '99 Daihatsu Terios? Any advice on how to find and change thermostat will be greatly appreciated.

If it's like other engines, follow the pipe from the rad to the engine block. It should connect with a 2" dia elbow which is bolted to the block (6mm bolt-10mm socket).Unbolt, remove stat, replace stat and seal, top up coolant, job done.
