I've had a very quiet weekend. Just came back from parents where I had dinner. Just sitting at my computer. I don't know why but I feel a bit sad/emotional. Sorry peeps x

Yesterday worked 8.30am till 12.30pm, afternoon lay on sofa watching a film. Sat night lay on sofa drinking wine and watching X factor. Today went Christmas shopping, bought 2 pairs of jeans from M & S for me, bought a travel bag for step daughters mother in law (she's always going away) Had a coffee and a ciggie sat outside in the sunshine under a very hot patio heater (yes it was sunny in Bury today), then called for one drink in pub came home made a tuna pasta bake, ate it, watched Emmerdale and now I'm here on puter writing this rambling answer.

Hi Beads, had a brill weekend and cant wait til next weekend! Had dinner and a girly catch up session with former workmates Friday, went out for drinks last night in Glasgow, it was FREEZING and SNOWING but the company was good and we had a great time.

The weekend is over too quickly isn't it?

The weekends do go quickly Haysi. I agree. Cruella - :) on Friday night myself, Mr Beads and our friend went round the local pub and saw a very odd band (but good) play live. Last night me and my girly friends went to a pub and did a bit of dancing at a club later on - it was a good giggle. Today I've just sat around thinking I should detox.

I had the best weekend - we went to Lapland yesterday with our five year old girls to see Santa.
It was really amazing. deep snow everywhere, husky and reindeer pulled sledge rides then a ride in a snow mobile over the frozen lake to be met by two elves who led us to a little log cabin and there he was!
The look on my girls faces when Santa produced the letters that they had written and 'posted' last week was priceless.
A very long day but one that will be remembered forever.

Hi Beads, I had a lovely weekend despite being full of a cold again. I spent all day yesterday with my brother and my nephews and my son then went Christmas shopping in Wigan today and got most of the stuff I needed without too much hassle :)

Hi yinyang, we did Lapland last December. The trip was plagued with problems which made it stressful and a big let down. We were gutted as you can imagine. On top of that the temperature in Lapland was +1 degs!!!

Tiggs, this year's RVP is quite good really. Russell Brand was great and so was that bloke with the cartoon character. Hope it's cheered you up a bit.

He was Tiggs, and Paul Potts' singing was as touching as ever. I'm so pleased he's been so successful. Just hope that Simon Cowell hasn't reaped the most out of his royalties.
