Very sad news
Today at 13:35hrs a dear old friend passed away and despite my best efforts there was nothing I could do to save her.
We bought that kettle the day we moved in together, and she has made us an literaly thousands of cups of tea and coffee through good times and... well only good times really, we hardly ever argue, anyway I digress, today at about 20 to 2 I was making myself a cup of coffee and something happened, there was a bang, and lots of lukewarm water over the worktop and, *sobs* and she was gone!!!!
Good job we've got an emergency kettle, but, however am I going to break the news to Mrs 4GS?

She's in electrical helpers heaven with the toaster that died when a live mouse fell in it looking for crumbs when we were on holiday. (Technicaly the toaster didn't die, it was the smell of burning mouse that made us get rid of it)

Time is a great healer 4GS. A new kettle won't replace Old Faithful, not will it fill the void that has now formed, no doubt, but you have lots of new and exciting times ahead with New Faithful, and Old Faithful wouldn't want to ruin that. She'd want you to carry on with that stiff upper lip (yes, I did say upper lip) and make more cups of tea and coffee, and hot chocolate, and who knows, maybe the odd cuppa soup too.
You'll see Old Faithful again, just keep it in mind that the Toaster was waiting to giude her through :-) X
