Mobile Phone Contracts
2 Answers
Orange advertise on their website that existing customers can get the same deal as new customers. They are also advertising a particular phone for free on an 35 per month 18 month contract, with 180 cashback (10 per month).
I am due an upgrade and want this particular phone. I have been told that I will have to pay for it! When I pointed out the existing customers can get the same as new, the woman said that it depended on what tariff I was on now (25 per month) and it didn't matter that I was prepared to upgrade to the 35.
I say this is rubbish, a nrew customer could come along, sign 18mth contract for 35 and get the phone for free. I come along as an existing customer, sign a 18mth contract 35pm and have to pay for the handset!!
Does this sound like a load of rubbish to you or am I right and should be able to get the phone for free, same as a new customer?
I am that annoyed I am cancelling my contract and going to vodafone where I can get the phone I want for free. I just want to know whether I am in the right or not!
