Is it normal to have some swelling in your cheek and a achey jaw after a root filling?? trying to get threw to dentists to ask but no answear as yet!!

Definitely normal to have a very achey jaw and some slight swelling for a couple of days. However if you get pain (as opposed to ache) and the swelling does not go down or increases then that needs investigating.

of course your going to go through some pain and swelling when i got couple implants put in and they sliced open my gums omg you could have seen the state of my face and mouth after that!! not pleasant.....
